Q. I have a food allergy, am a vegetarian or have other special dietary restrictions, can you make special accommodations for me?
A. Yes, but please let us know when you register if you or anyone in your group has a particular food allergy or dislike and we will try to arrange a menu around that. However, our kitchen is NOT a gluten-free or nut-free environment. We recommend you not take a class if your condition restricts you from an environment that contains gluten or nuts. Also note that we cannot "police" all the ingredients in a meal. It is the responsibility of every participant to pay careful attention to the meals they prepare and to know what they can and cannot eat. Often an ingredient can be substituted for one that better suits your particular need.

Q. Is there anything I need to bring to class?
A. No. All food ingredients are provided along with all the necessary kitchen "hardware". A printed copy of all the recipes that are prepared during the class will be provided to everyone at the start of the class. We have aprons and name tags that we ask everyone to wear. But the most important thing to bring to a class is an open-mind and a happy face. Cooking should be fun and we want everyone to enjoy themselves and take home some new knowledge. Note: Virtual classes/camps do not include ingredients or supplies and must be purchased by participant ahead of time.

Q. What about left overs?
A. Generally, you will prepare enough of each item so everyone in the class gets a generous portion. There will sometimes be leftovers for you to take home.

Q. I have registered for a class but my schedule has changed what should I do?
A. Although tuition is non-refundable, you can transfer to another class up to 48 hours before your scheduled class. Please call us to make such arrangements. If you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for you may also send someone else in your place. Again, please call us. This policy does not apply to private parties or events.

Q. How will I know if a class is being cancelled due to poor weather conditions?
A. If we need to cancel a class due to inclement weather or other reason we will send an email to the address that you provided during registration. You may also check our homepage prior to leaving for class for any special cancellation notices.
